Responsible for monitoring stock movement, analysing branch inventory levels, coordinating stock rotation and replenishment, supporting forecasting and ordering, following up on deliveries, and preparing inventory reports. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field, with 2–3 years’ relevant experience. The position is based in Nairob iand requires on-site work.
The Stock Analyst role at City Walk Ltd in Kenya is integral to the company’s retail operations, focusing on inventory management and optimization across its extensive network of stores. This position ensures that inventory levels align with sales demands, contributing to efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Analysis & Forecasting
- Reporting & Data Analysis
- Preplenishment Planning
- Process Improvement by identify opportunities to streamline warehouse processes and reduce operational costs.
- Work closely with warehouse staff, inventory managers, and branch-level teams to achieve inventory-related goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in inventory control, stock analysis, or related roles in a retail or warehouse setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions.
