VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT@ Malawi Lake Services Limited (MLS) POSITION: STEVEDORELocation: Likoma PortOVERVIEW Malawi Lake Services Limited invites applications from suitably qualified Malawian candidates for the non-established position of Stevedore under the Government Marine Department at Likoma Port.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Loading and offloading cargo from ships.- Maintaining general cleanliness of the port premises.- Attending to the mooring ropes of ships during arrival and departure.- Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSInterested candidates must:- Possess a Malawi Junior School Certificate of Education (JCE) as the minimum academic qualification.- Be aged between 25 and 33 years.- Have sober habits and demonstrate good conduct.- Be physically fit and able to perform manual duties associated with the position.HOW TO APPLYInterested candidates should submit a handwritten application letter stating their:- Age- Gender- Academic qualificationsThe application letter should be accompanied by an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).Applications should be addressed to:The Human Resources ManagerMalawi Lake Services LimitedP.O.
