## Job Description

Our client, a leading organisation in the Insurance and Insurtech sector, is seeking a seasoned Senior Solutions Architect to join their Architecture team. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a technology expert with a proven ability to design scalable enterprise solutions, lead complex technology initiatives, and develop high-performing technical teams.

The successful candidate will provide strategic technical direction, architect innovative solutions that support insurance business capabilities, and oversee the delivery of large-scale, business-critical projects. They will act as a trusted advisor to clients and key stakeholders, champion architectural best practices, and mentor Solutions Architects to strengthen technical capability and support the continued growth of the architecture function.

### Responsibilities

- Lead the architecture and technical delivery of complex, strategic client implementations.

- Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements, define solution approaches, and align stakeholders.

- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solution architectures that meet business and technical requirements.

- Produce high-quality solution design documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.

- Act as the primary technical escalation point for Solutions Architects and implementation teams.

- Conduct architecture reviews and governance activities to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.

- Mentor, coach, and develop Solutions Architects through technical reviews and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Client Success teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

### Qualifications & Experience

- Extensive experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or  Implementation Architecture roles.

- Proven track record leading complex software implementation and transformation projects.

- Strong experience designing enterprise-grade applications, integrations, and cloud-based solutions.

- Deep understanding of system architecture principles, API integrations, security, scalability, and performance considerations.

- Experience facilitating technical workshops and engaging with executive-level stakeholders.

- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with experience developing technical teams.
