Our client, a leading organisation in the Insurance and Insurtech sector, is seeking a seasoned Senior Solutions Architect to join their Architecture team. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a technology expert with a proven ability to design scalable enterprise solutions, lead complex technology initiatives, and develop high-performing technical teams.
The successful candidate will provide strategic technical direction, architect innovative solutions that support insurance business capabilities, and oversee the delivery of large-scale, business-critical projects. They will act as a trusted advisor to clients and key stakeholders, champion architectural best practices, and mentor Solutions Architects to strengthen technical capability and support the continued growth of the architecture function.
Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture and technical delivery of complex, strategic client implementations.Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements, define solution approaches, and align stakeholders.Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solution architectures that meet business and technical requirements.Produce high-quality solution design documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.Act as the primary technical escalation point for Solutions Architects and implementation teams.Conduct architecture reviews and governance activities to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.Mentor, coach, and develop Solutions Architects through technical reviews and knowledge-sharing initiatives.Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Client Success teams to ensure successful project outcomes.Qualifications and experience:
Extensive experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Implementation Architecture roles.Proven track record leading complex software implementation and transformation projects.Strong experience designing enterprise-grade applications, integrations, and cloud-based solutions.Deep understanding of system architecture principles, API integrations, security, scalability, and performance considerations.Experience facilitating technical workshops and engaging with executive-level stakeholders.Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with experience developing technical teams.The reference number for this position is NG61425 which is a permanent position in Cape Town offering a salary of up to R1.3mil per annum CTC negotiable based on experience.
