Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Campaigns
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to promote college programmes, intakes, events and other initiatives.
- Plan and execute campaigns across social media, Google, WhatsApp and other relevant digital platforms.
- Monitor campaign performance and make adjustments to improve reach, engagement and conversions.
- Manage digital advertising budgets effectively and ensure optimal return on investment.
Social Media Management
- Manage the college’s social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Develop and maintain a consistent social media content calendar.
- Monitor trends and identify opportunities to create relevant and engaging content.
- Respond to comments, messages and online enquiries professionally and promptly.
- Grow the college’s online audience and engagement.
Content Creation
- Create engaging videos, graphics, captions, stories and other digital content.
- Develop student-focused content around courses, careers, campus life, student experiences and success stories.
- Capture and showcase student activities, events, graduations, practical sessions and other college experiences.
- Collaborate with staff and students to generate authentic content.
Lead Generation & Student Recruitment
- Generate qualified leads through digital marketing campaigns.
- Track online enquiries from initial contact through to admission.
- Work closely with the Admissions/Front Office team to ensure timely follow-up of digital leads.
- Identify which campaigns, platforms and content generate the highest number of qualified applicants.
- Support campaigns targeting KCSE leavers, working professionals, parents and other prospective students.
Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly digital marketing reports.
- Track key performance indicators including reach, engagement, leads, cost per lead, conversion rate and admissions generated.
- Analyse campaign performance and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of digital leads and campaign outcomes.
Brand Management
- Ensure all digital communication reflects the college’s brand, values and professional image.
- Maintain consistency in messaging, visuals and tone across all digital platforms.
- Monitor the college’s online reputation and escalate negative or sensitive issues appropriately.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management or lead generation.
- Experience in education, training, college or student recruitment marketing will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrable experience managing social media platforms and digital campaigns.
- Experience with Meta Ads, TikTok, Google Ads, Canva and/or other digital marketing tools is an advantage.
