## Job Description

SME LOAN OFFICER An opportunity has arisen with a competitive Microfinance Institution (MFI) for a motivated professional to contribute to business growth, portfolio management, client relationship development, and the delivery of financial services.

### Duties and Responsibilities

Key ResponsibilitiesMeet with clients to discuss loan needs and financial situations Explain different loan products, terms, and repayment options Collect and review financial documents such as income statements, credit reports, and tax records Evaluate applicants’ creditworthiness and ability to repay loans Submit loan applications for approval and coordinate with underwriters Maintain accurate client records and documentation Ensure compliance with banking laws and lending regulations Build relationships with clients, real estate agents, and financial institutions Monitor loan progress from application through closing Meet monthly or quarterly loan production targets Maintain PAR of <2.5%
