## Job Description

Communication Jobs, Siloam Hospital Jobs. Responsible for providing sign language interpretation between Deaf or hard-of-hearing patients, healthcare professionals, and other hospital staff, facilitating clear communication during consultations and procedures, interpreting medical information accurately, maintaining patient confidentiality, and supporting accessible healthcare services. Requires relevant training or certification in Kenyan Sign Language, experience in sign language interpretation. The position is based in Kericho and requires on-site work.

Qualifications

- Certificate/Diploma in Kenya Sign Language (KSL), Sign Language Interpretation, or a related field.

- Demonstrable proficiency in Kenya Sign Language.

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting will be an added advan- tage.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
