Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for technology, solution design, and innovation? We are looking for an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping end-to-end technology solutions within a dynamic, agile environment.

Minimum qualifications and experience:
A relevant tertiary qualification in information technology, computer science, or a related field (BSc, BTech, or equivalent degree)Relevant architecture certification, with TOGAF certification being essential5 to 7 years of experience in solution architecture within an Agile environmentFoundational experience and understanding of financial marketsDemonstrated experience in a solutions architecture roleExperience in software engineering is advantageousExposure to the South African financial markets will be an added advantageTechnical knowledge and skills:
The successful candidate should demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in the following areas:Trading and risk platformsData management platformsCloud architecture, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS)Systems integration and application architectureArchitecture and design of internally developed applicationsAgile methodologies and delivery environmentsTools and platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), and GitKey competencies:
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks effectivelyStrong collaboration and teamwork skillsThe ability to translate complex business requirements into practical, effective technical solutionsA strategic mindset with the ability to balance technical excellence, business value, and operational efficiencyReference number for this position is GZ61521 which is a permanent position based in Melrose Arch Johannesburg offering a cost to company salary of R1.6m per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
