Who are we looking for: We're looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) who thrives on simplifying complex software products. This role is ideal for a systems thinker who can transform intricate business models, workflows and technical requirements into intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences. As an AI-first studio, we embrace AI throughout our product design and creative workflows. We are looking for someone who is comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping and design execution while maintaining exceptional design quality and user-centred thinking. The successful candidate will have extensive experience designing software products and be able to take complex business models and translate them into simple, intuitive user experiences. You should have designed portals, dashboards, SaaS platforms, enterprise systems, web applications and mobile products, with the ability to simplify sophisticated workflows into elegant, market-ready software. While promotional and digital marketing design forms part of the role, software product design is the primary focus and core purpose of this position. What will you do: Lead end-to-end product design from discovery, user research, journey mapping, user flows, wireframing, prototyping and high-fidelity design through to developer handoffSimplify complex business models, workflows and enterprise systems into elegant, intuitive software productsDesign portals, dashboards, SaaS platforms, web applications and mobile productsCreate scalable design systems, reusable components and interaction patternsUse analytics, usability testing and user behaviour insights to continuously improve productsCollaborate closely with developers to ensure smooth implementation and high-quality user experiencesReview and elevate design quality across the studio while mentoring designers where requiredContribute to websites, landing pages, email, CRM and other digital marketing assets

Requirements

What do you need? 5–7+ years' experience designing software products, including SaaS platforms, dashboards, portals, enterprise systems, web applications or mobile appsProven experience translating complex business logic, workflows and technical requirements into simple, intuitive user experiencesA strong portfolio showcasing shipped software productsAdvanced proficiency in Figma, including components, Auto Layout, design systems, prototyping, variables and Dev ModeExperience working with analytics, usability testing and user research to improve digital productsStrong understanding of design systems, developer handoff and collaborating with engineering teamsExperience working in financial services, SaaS, technology or other complex software environments is highly advantageousHands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Figma AI, Midjourney or similar to accelerate research, ideation and prototypingExcellent visual design, typography, interaction design and communication skills If you're passionate about simplifying complex software into exceptional user experiences and want to join an AI-first studio building innovative digital products, we would love to hear from you.
