Senior Manager- Fulfilment Center oversees warehouse and logistics operations, requires a Supply Chain or Operations degree, 10+ years fulfillment/e-commerce experience, and 5+ years management experience. Full-time role in Nairobi. ### Key Responsibilities - Strategic Operations Management: Develop and implement fulfilment strategies to achieve operational targets and customer satisfaction goals. - Warehouse and Logistics Coordination: Work with the Warehouse and Logistics Leaders to streamline processes and ensure efficient fulfilment operations. - Operational Excellence: Oversee order processing, inventory accuracy, picking, packing, dispatch, transportation, and delivery coordination. - Performance Management: Establish and monitor KPIs, service-level agreements, productivity targets, and operational standards. - Cost Optimization: Drive initiatives to reduce operational costs, minimize wastage, and improve productivity. - Process Improvement: Identify operational gaps and implement automation and best practices. - People Management: Provide strategic direction to operational leaders and develop a high-performing team. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Customer Service, Marketplace, Finance, and other departments to resolve operational challenges. - Reporting and Decision-Making: Analyze operational data and provide actionable recommendations. - Capacity Planning: Ensure operations can accommodate growth and peak-season demand while maintaining service quality. Minimum Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - At least 10 years of overall experience in fulfilment operations, preferably within e-commerce, retail distribution, courier services, or high-volume environments. - At least 5 years of management experience overseeing large-scale operations and managing operational managers or departmental leaders.
