The university is preparing to launch and invites suitably qualified academics to join its pioneering team.Position OverviewThe Senior Lecturer will contribute to teaching, research, academic leadership and curriculum development for the Bachelor of Arts in Theology programme.Minimum QualificationsPhD in Theology, Divinity or Religious Studies.ExperienceAt least eight years' teaching and research experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver high-quality, interactive online course content through the university's Learning Management System (LMS).Deliver asynchronous lectures, facilitate virtual seminars and lead live online discussions.Set, administer and mark assignments, tests and examinations, providing constructive and timely feedback.Hold virtual consultation sessions and provide academic advice and mentorship to students.Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, dissertations and capstone work online.Conduct academic research, publish in reputable journals and pursue external research grants and resource mobilisation opportunities.Facilitate virtual learning activities, case studies and practicums relevant to the programme.Build links with industry, churches, government and professional bodies.Mentor Lecturers, review assessment rubrics and participate in academic governance activities.Provide academic leadership for the programme and lead curriculum reviews.How to ApplyApplications should include a current CV and contact numbers and addresses of at least three traceable referees.Send applications to:The Vice ChancellorGoshen International UniversityP.O.
