The university is preparing to launch and invites suitably qualified academics to join its pioneering team.Position OverviewThe Senior Lecturer will teach and support students in the Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Science programme while contributing to academic leadership, research, curriculum development and staff mentorship.Minimum QualificationsPhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field.ExperienceAt least eight years' teaching and research experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver interactive online course content through the university's Learning Management System (LMS).Deliver asynchronous lectures, facilitate virtual seminars and lead live online discussions.Set, administer and mark assignments, tests and examinations, providing constructive and timely feedback.Provide virtual consultation sessions, academic advice and student mentorship.Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, dissertations and capstone work online.Conduct academic research, publish in reputable journals and pursue external research grants and resource mobilisation opportunities.Facilitate virtual labs, case studies and practicums relevant to the programme.Build links with industry, churches, government and professional bodies.Mentor Lecturers, review assessment rubrics and participate in academic governance activities.Provide academic leadership for the programme and lead curriculum reviews.How to ApplyApplications should include a current CV and contact numbers and addresses of at least three traceable referees.Send applications to:The Vice ChancellorGoshen International UniversityP.O.
