## Job Description

### For appointment to this grade, an officer must have

- Cumulative service period of six (6) years’ relevant work experience three (3) years of which should have been in the grade of Internal Auditor I or in a comparable position; 

- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (Finance and Accounting option) or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution; 

- Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or equivalent qualification from a recognised and accredited institution;  

- Member of Institute of Internal Auditors Kenya (IIA) or any other relevant professional body where applicable and in good standing; 

-  Proficiency in computer application; and 

-  Show merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
