Strong background in automationStrong skills in Bash, Ksh or Python scriptingExperience with AzureExperience with Docker, OpenShift and/or KubernetesExperience with Unix/LinuxKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practicesKnowledge of networking and cybersecurity practicesA keen interest in financeStrong problem-solving skillsGood communication skills, maturity and the ability to work in a teamCollaboration - the nature of what we do requires us to huddle around whiteboardsdebate solutions with the team, and talk to each other often - this means that we all work together in person in the officeDepending on the level you apply for, anywhere between 2 and 10+ years of experience in DevOpsNice-to-have:
Experience with Helm and ArgoCDDevSecOps experienceIaC experience with Terraform and/or AnsibleKnowledge of SQLIdeally, a degree in Computer Science or a related fieldPrevious experience in financial services, specifically credit and transactional productsReference number for this position is GZ61508 which is a permanent position based in Rosebank offering a salary of R1.4m per annum, negotiable based on experience and ability.
