Qualifications
Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Climate Finance, Sustainable Finance, Economics, Environmental Economics, Development Studies, Finance, Public Policy, or another related field.
Professional certification in finance, sustainable finance, climate finance, project finance, ESG, or related areas.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of relevant practitioner experience in climate finance, sustainable finance, development finance, project preparation, investment advisory, financial sector development, or related areas.
Demonstrated experience working with governments, development partners, INGOs, multilateral institutions, financial institutions, or climate-focused programmes.
Proven experience in
supporting or delivering climate finance and sustainable finance advisory assignments
contributing to blended finance, fund structuring, project preparation, or other implementation-oriented advisory work
supporting development of investment pipelines, financing strategies, or project preparation materials
conducting economic, financial, and policy analysis related to sustainable investment and financing
supporting tracking, reporting, or accountability mechanisms for climate and sustainable finance programmes or facilities
Financial modelling skills to assess project cash flows, financing scenarios, and investment considerations.
Exposure to sustainable finance taxonomies, ESG and sustainability reporting, MRV frameworks, climate finance tracking, or impact reporting.
