Senior Client Liaison & Events Manager

Job description

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Senior Client Liaison & Events Manager to join our growing team. This is not a traditional events role. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance agency environment, can manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously, and is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences from concept through to execution. Key responsibilities You will be responsible for managing projects from the moment a brief is received through to successful delivery, including: Managing client relationships and acting as the primary point of contact.Receiving, interpreting and unpacking client briefs.Conducting research into brands, competitors and activation opportunities.Developing creative concepts and mood boards.Preparing professional client presentations and proposal documents.Compiling detailed event and activation costings and budgets.Presenting concepts and recommendations to clients.Managing project timelines and ensuring deadlines are consistently met.Liaising with internal creative, production and operations teams.Briefing designers, suppliers and production partners.Obtaining quotations and negotiating with suppliers.Managing procurement and production schedules.Overseeing logistics, staffing and event planning.Managing on-site event execution and ensuring exceptional delivery.Managing project budgets and profitability.Preparing post-event reports and client feedback documentation.Identifying opportunities to upsell and grow existing client accounts.Who we're looking for We are looking for someone who: Thrives in a high-pressure environment.Can confidently juggle multiple deadlines.Is proactive and solutions-driven.Takes ownership and accountability.Is calm under pressure.Has exceptional attention to detail.Is creative while remaining commercially minded.Is highly organised.Can prioritise effectively.Is confident communicating with senior clients.Works well independently while also being a collaborative team player.Is willing to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional work.What success looks like The successful candidate will be expected to: Deliver outstanding client service.Produce high-quality concepts and presentations.Meet demanding deadlines.Maintain accurate budgets and project documentation.Build strong client relationships.Ensure flawless event execution.Contribute positively to our team culture.Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and client experiences.

Requirements

Essential skills and experience The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 7 years' experience in an events, experiential marketing or agency environment.Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.Strong client service and relationship management skills.Experience preparing event budgets and detailed costings.Excellent presentation and proposal writing abilities.Experience creating mood boards and conceptual presentations.Exceptional organisational and time management skills.Strong negotiation and supplier management experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High attention to detail.Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel when required.Software Experience Experience with the following is advantageous: Microsoft Office Suite (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)CanvaAdobe Creative Suite (advantageous)Google Workspace Apply by email: coral.warner@keynote.co.za
