Strong commercial experience developing software in C++Strong commercial experience with RustExperience working with both modern and legacy codebasesStrong understanding of software architecture and design principlesStrong systems programming fundamentalsExcellent debugging and problem-solving skillsExperience developing production-grade, high-performance softwareStrong understanding of memory management, concurrency and multi-threadingExperience working with Linux-based development environmentsStrong understanding of software development best practicesExperience with Git and modern source-control practicesAbility to understand and work within complex existing systemsHighly advantageous:
Experience migrating or modernising C++ systems using Rust.Experience working with high-performance data-processing systems.Experience with email infrastructure, messaging or communications platforms.Experience with distributed systems.Experience with networking or network protocols.Experience with asynchronous programming.Experience with containerisation and cloud technologies.Experience with Node.js / TypeScript.Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring developersTechnical environment:
