## Job Description

A prominent investment management company focused on insurance solutions is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to strengthen its IT Solutions team. This position is centered on architecting, developing, and enhancing enterprise-level BI systems. The successful candidate will convert complex business needs into efficient data models and scalable reporting solutions. The role involves consolidating data from diverse sources, ensuring high data quality, and enabling insightful analytics. It is ideal for a data-driven professional who thrives on turning information into strategic value.

Responsibilities: 
Mentor and support junior team members in BI development and best practices.Design, develop, and maintain robust BI solutions aligned with business objectivesBuild and optimize data models, data warehouses, and reporting frameworksDevelop and manage ETL processes to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loadingIntegrate data from multiple systems while maintaining data consistency and accuracyCreate interactive dashboards and reports to support business decision-makingCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutionsMonitor and improve data quality, integrity, and performance across BI systemsIdentify opportunities for automation and process improvements within data workflowsTroubleshoot BI issues and implement sustainable solutionsEnsure compliance with data governance and security standardsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Qualifications and Experience: 
A relevant degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.5+ years of experience in a BI Analyst Developer or similar role.Proficiency in Power BI or Qlik.Advanced SQL skills and strong database querying ability.Excellent numeracy and analytical thinking skills.Experience with MS SQL Server, SSIS, and Power BI.Exposure to Snowflake, Talend, or Qlik.Experience working in the financial or asset management sectors.Demonstrated experience in delivering BI projects from conception to deployment.
