# Security Guards Canonical URL: https://primejobalerts.com/jobs/security-guards Company: BrighterMonday Consulting Category: Healthcare & Medical Location: Kenya, Nairobi, Kenya Work type: Full-time Work arrangement: On-site Published: 2026-06-05 Expires: 2026-09-03 ## Job Description About the Organization The KSIA (Kenya Security Industry Association) is a Federation of Private companies whose core Business is the supply of Security products and Services.  We are building a Security Guards talent pool to be considered for future job openings for KSIA members.  You will be responsible for monitoring and securing premises, safeguarding staff and visitors, identifying suspicious activities, and helping prevent theft, vandalism, and other security incidents while maintaining a safe and secure environment.  Responsibilities ​ - Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure - Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over - Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles according to protocols - Monitoring surveillance cameras to watch out for any disruptions or unlawful activities - Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management - Testing security systems and, if needed, operating X-ray machines and metal detectors - Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner - Performing CPR or first aid when needed Requirements - Excellent knowledge of security protocols - Ability to operate security systems and emergency equipment - Exceptional interpersonal skills - Advanced verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work alone or as part of a team - Ability to solve problems as they arise - Attention to detail - Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations - ### Height Male: At least 5.8 - Female: At least 5.5  Salary:  Sh.14,000 ## Requirements Unspecified 1 ## Apply Use the canonical Prime Job Alerts page for full application instructions and source verification.
