ANDREWS CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOLPOSITION: SECURITY GUARDS (2 POSITIONS)Location: ChitipaOVERVIEW The Diocese of Karonga invites applications from suitably qualified and responsible candidates for TWO (2) SECURITY GUARD POSITIONS at St. Andrews Catholic Primary School.Key Responsibilities- Patrol school premises and check doors, gates and windows.- Monitor and report security risks, fire hazards and other irregularities.- Record inspections and authorized persons entering the premises.- Respond to alarms and security incidents.- Report suspected unlawful activities to the appropriate authorities.- Control access to school premises.- Detect and report theft, fraud and other unlawful acts.- Perform other authorized duties assigned by management.Qualifications & AttributesApplicants must:- Be physically fit and able to pass a medical examination if required.- Have good hearing and eyesight.- Be observant, responsible and trustworthy.- Have good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.- Be able to pass a Police check.- Have a minimum of JCE.- Be able to read and write.- Respect and understand the principles of Catholic Social Teaching.How to ApplySubmit a cover letter, updated CV with three traceable referees, and copies of academic/professional certificates addressed to:The Human Resource OfficerThe Diocese of KarongaP.O.
