VACANCY: SECURITY GUARD (GRADE P)Posted by Mvungi Job MasterEmployer: Ekwendeni College of Health Sciences, University of LivingstoniaPosition: Security Guard (Grade P)Location: Ekwendeni, MalawiApplication Email: ecohss@unilia.ac.mwCC: registracecohss@unilia.ac.mwClosing Date: 30 October 2026Reports to: Head of SecurityAbout the PositionEkwendeni College of Health Sciences, under the University of Livingstonia, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Security Guard (Grade P).The successful candidate will help protect college property, maintain security, control access, and respond to security incidents and emergencies.Minimum Qualifications and RequirementsMalawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).At least three years of experience working in a busy environment.Must have no criminal record.Good physical health and stamina to conduct security patrols.Willingness to work irregular shifts.Key ResponsibilitiesPatrol college premises to prevent and detect intrusion.Monitor entrances and exits and control access to college property.Record daily activities, security incidents, theft, damage, and unusual occurrences.Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.Contact the police or fire department during emergencies.Enforce security rules and prevent unauthorised access.Operate security screening equipment and inspect security systems.How to ApplyInterested and suitably qualified candidates should submit:An application letter.Copies of relevant academic and professional certificates.An updated CV containing details of three traceable referees.Address the application to:The College PrincipalUniversity of LivingstoniaEkwendeni College of Health SciencesP.O.
