Job description
An opportunity has arisen with a leading Furniture Manufacturing Institution for dynamic and results-driven Sales representatives to join our team. This is a critical role where your sales expertise, customer-focused approach, and ability to identify opportunities will drive business growth, strengthen client relationships, and enhance our reputation for service excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate sales within and outside the branch to achieve allocated sales targets.
- Conduct market surveys, including competitor and customer analysis, to identify opportunities.
- Participate in branch marketing activities and brand awareness campaigns.
- Ensure stock is properly displayed, merchandised, and promoted to maximize visibility.
- Educate customers and demonstrate product features and usage effectively to support purchasing decisions.
- Manage customer accounts, process invoices, and ensure all transactions are properly authorized.
- Contribute to team goals by upselling related products and promoting special offers where appropriate.
Qualifications
and Experience
- A Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing Management or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 2–3 years' proven experience in sales, preferably within the retail industry.
- A valid driver’s licence
- Excellent customer service
skills
with a solution-oriented approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain product features and benefits.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and well presented.
