Sales Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Officer to join our micro lending team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, promoting our micro lending products, converting potential clients and leads, and achieving monthly sales targets. This role requires someone highly motivated with excellent communication skills, reliability, being a self-starter, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential clients for micro lending products.
• Promote and explain micro lending products to potential clients.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Prepare and present sales reports to the management team.
• Evaluate loan applications to determine eligibility and creditworthiness.
• Conduct thorough background checks and financial assessments of applicants.
• Approve or reject loan applications based on established criteria.
• Manage and monitor loan portfolios to ensure timely repayments.
• Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the loan process.
• Maintain accurate records of all loan transactions and client interactions.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
• Prepare and present regular reports on loan activities to the management team.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Two (2) years proven track record in sales
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
