VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT @ WORKFORCE RECRUITMENT SERVICES (WRS)POSITION: SALES REPRESENTATIVELocation: Blantyre OVERVIEW Workforce Recruitment Services (WRS), on behalf of its client, a growing and dynamic company operating in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is inviting applications from suitably qualified, motivated and results-driven candidates.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE• Minimum Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management or a related field.• At least 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, bottled water, beverages or a related industry.• Proven ability to identify and develop new customers and sales opportunities.• Strong knowledge of route-to-market sales, distribution, retail and wholesale channels.• Excellent communication, negotiation, persuasion and customer-service skills.• Demonstrated ability to work with sales targets and deliver measurable results.• Good knowledge of the local market.• Ability to develop relationships with distributors, shops, supermarkets, institutions, hotels, restaurants and other potential customers.• Self-motivated, energetic, disciplined and able to work independently with minimum supervision.• Good reporting, record-keeping and basic computer skills.• Ability to travel within assigned territories and conduct regular market visits.• A valid driving licence is an added advantage.KEY ATTRIBUTESResults-oriented, trustworthy, presentable, hardworking, customer-focused, energetic and passionate about achieving sustainable sales growth.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Identify and develop new customers and sales opportunities.• Increase sales volumes and expand the company's market presence.• Maintain strong and professional relationships with existing and prospective customers.• Develop and manage customer accounts within assigned territories.• Drive route-to-market sales and distribution across retail and wholesale channels.• Conduct regular market visits and gather relevant market intelligence.• Develop relationships with distributors, shops, supermarkets, institutions, hotels, restaurants and other potential customers.• Monitor competitors, market trends and customer needs.• Achieve agreed sales targets and deliver measurable sales results.• Prepare regular sales reports and maintain accurate customer records.• Provide excellent customer service and address customer queries professionally.• Travel within assigned territories and conduct regular field activities.APPLICATION DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY, 30TH SEPTEMBER 2026HOW TO APPLYInterested and suitably qualified candidates should send their application letter and detailed, updated CV to:Email: applications2.workforce@gmail.comPlease use "SALES REPRESENTATIVE" as the email subject.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Workforce Recruitment Services is an equal opportunity employer.
