This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who knows B2B sales, manufacturing and customer relationships - and who is equally comfortable developing a team, winning new business and working closely with production. What you’ll be doing Lead and develop the sales team to achieve agreed targetsDrive new business development and grow market shareManage and grow key customer relationshipsDevelop and maintain a strong sales pipelineOversee quotations, pricing, forecasting and commercial performanceWork closely with Production and Procurement to deliver against customer requirementsMonitor market and competitor activity and identify new opportunitiesCoach and develop the sales team while driving accountability and performanceWhat we’re looking for 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, packaging or related production environment3–5 years’ experience in flexible packaging, paper packaging or a closely related industry3–5 years’ sales management / supervisory experienceProven track record in new business development and achieving sales targetsStrong commercial and financial understandingExperience managing key accounts, pricing, quotations and forecastingStrong leadership, negotiation and relationship-building skillsA hands-on, proactive and results-driven approach Diploma in packaging technology  A relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, Commerce, Marketing, Manufacturing or a related field would be advantageous.
