### CHOPPIES – JOB VACANCY

Job Title: Sales Floor Assistant Location: Makeni Bonaventure, Lusaka, Zambia Closing Date: 22 October 2026

### Responsibilities

To provide efficient, quality customer retention and service.

- 

Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and help customers find products.

- 

Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing sales floor.

- 

Restock shelves, displays, and inventory as needed.

- 

Support sales goals and promotions.

- 

Work with the team to ensure a positive shopping experience.

- 

Check for and remove expired or damaged items from shelves.

- 

Select and place goods on shelves, check stock levels, and ensure products are neat and tidy.

- 

Replenish stock and handle stock properly.

- 

Receive and store goods in the required area.

- 

Prepare, pre-pack, and merchandise stock.

- 

Be familiar with the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.

- 

Ensure that procedures for handling damaged and expired products are adequately followed.

### Education and Experience

- 

High school diploma or equivalent.

- 

Food handlers’ certification and food production certification.

- 

1–2 years of experience in merchandising products.

- 

Basic knowledge of sales floor operations and shelf packing.

- 

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

- 

Physical fitness and ability to work at heights.

- 

Candidates should be medically fit.

### Skills, Abilities and Requirements

- 

Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

- 

Must be able to stay calm and focused.

- 

Interpersonal skills.

- 

Supervisory skills, including the ability to train employees to use time efficiently and maintain high standards of service delivery.

### Additional Requirements

Physical Examination Required: Medical Report and Police Clearance.
