Position Overview

• As the Sales Executive – Corporate Division, you will be responsible for the maximization of sales for all stationary range of products for office stationery in the Corporate Sector, ranging from Banks, Manufacturing sector, NGO’s, SACCOS among other corporates. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic plans, and ensuring that our stationery products are prominently featured and effectively consumed in the corporate sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for acquiring and servicing customer accounts in the corporate sector.
• Follow up on tender applications, request for quotations while ensuring the set monthly, quarterly and annual targets are exceeded.
• Research and identify sales opportunities, generate leads, and close sales on a consistent basis and in line with credit and delivery terms.
• Develop effective forecast of consumer trade needs and retail development in the target markets.
• Meet the assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets, as per the KPI’s assigned to the role.
• Contribute to planning and implementing of sales and marketing strategies together with the team to achieve the envisioned business growth plan.
• Ensure complaints and after-sales service issues and repairs are managed in time and to the satisfaction of the customer.
• Represent the Company at key corporate accounts meetings and events as and when required in liaison with the Head of Sales.
• Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, summarising information, and articulating the same during monthly sales meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Management or related field.
• At least 5 years Sales & Marketing experience in Corporate Sector preferably in the stationery category.
• Must possess strong and demonstrable prospecting and negotiation skills.
• Strong understanding of Corporate Marketing, Relationship Management, with proven performance in your previous roles.
• Excellent communication skills and an astute negotiator.
• High level of commercial awareness.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work cross functionally with minimal supervision.
• High level of integrity.
• Good knowledge of IT systems and and data analysis.
