Job description
The Role
- The Sales Associate will support with expansion of Adpath Laboratories' across the Mount Kenya region by identifying new business opportunities, developing professional relationships and increasing awareness and uptake of our diagnostic services.
- The successful candidate will work alongside the existing team to strengthen market coverage, support outreach initiatives and develop new business relationships across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular field visits to healthcare facilities, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and other potential referral partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, healthcare providers and institutional clients.
- Promote Adpath Laboratories' diagnostic services and support increased service uptake.
- Identify new markets, potential partners and opportunities for geographical expansion.
- Support customer engagement, partnership development and market visibility initiatives.
- Work towards agreed sales, outreach and business development targets.
- Monitor market activities and competitor developments and provide regular feedback.
- Prepare and submit timely field activity reports and performance updates.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, Business Development or a related field.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing or business development.
- Experience in healthcare sales is a requirement.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities and work towards targets.
- Self-driven, well-organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the Mount Kenya region.
