## Job Description

Medical Jobs. Haven Hospital Jobs. Registered Nurses providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, requiring a Diploma in Nursing with valid registration and practising licence, in a healthcare environment, on-site role.

### Key Responsibilities

- Provide safe, compassionate and patient-centered nursing care.

- Conduct patient assessment, monitoring and documentation.

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

- Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions promptly.

- Assist in emergency care and resuscitation when required.

- Maintain accurate nursing and patient records.

- Implement infection prevention and control measures.

- Participate in health education and patient counselling.

- Work collaboratively with doctors and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

- Participate in quality improvement activities, audits and continuous professional development.

- Perform other nursing duties as assigned by the Nursing Department

Qualifications & Requirements

- Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution

- At least 2 years in clinical experience

- Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) and hold a valid practicing license.

- Valid BLS/CPR certification will be an added advantage.

- Previous clinical experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

- Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, professionalism and ethical nursing practice.

- Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
