Regional Sales Manager – Northern

Location: Ndola Cement, Ndola Cement

Company: Dangote Industries Limited

In collaboration with the Head of Sales & Marketing, provide the required inputs, insights and

assumptions required to develop the Annual Commercial strategy.

· Own the implementation of short-term strategic actions and tactical interventions at region and

customer level at Sales, Marketing & Service Delivery level.

· Supervision of Sales Officers in own region ensuring that they are operating within the approved

SOP in Sales and Service Delivery.

· Own key Distributor & Retailer relations ensuring alignment on both strategic issues and day to day

operational issues.

· Own market development agenda across the agenda to deliver volume and revenue growth.

· Supervise and performance manage across sales volume target, customer management and values

alignment including the Exports Sales Officer.

· Inculcate Price Monitoring Culture within the Sales Officer team ensuring that updated information

from the market is always held and is reliable for use in price management.

· Manage Company’s Brand through the Senior Marketing Officer

· Ensure continuous development & disciplined execution of Route to Market (RTM) including

identifying Skills/Training gaps for Team Members & close the gaps.

· Ensure that Company/Dept’s Assets are well kept

Any other tasks as assigned by the Head of Sales & Marketing

Degree in Marketing/Social Sciences

· Master Degree in Business Administration will be added advantage.

· 10-15 yrs Hands on Experience in Sales & Marketing in Manufacturing, Commodities, FCMG

environment; five (5) years in a Cement Industry will be an added advantage.

· Proper understanding of market dynamics and Key Account Management

Proven work experience at senior management level
