Illovo Sugar (Malawi) plc is part of Illovo Sugar Africa Group; a wholly-owned subsidiary of Associated British Foods plc (ABF).Duties and Responsibilities- Operate complex medical instruments such as x-ray, and ultrasound, and other imaging devices as assigned- Perform imaging procedures (x-rays and ultrasounds) to aid in accurate patient diagnoses and follow up so patients receive the correct treatment.- Evaluate patients' medical condition and history to determine most suitable radiologic technique to use for diagnosis- Monitor patients, ensuring their safety during imaging procedures- Log and organize image results, develop films, assist with the interpretation of radiology results, and consult with the doctor to determine if other images need to be taken.- Prepare relevant radiopharmaceuticals for contrast in the diagnostic images.- Ensure the proper sterilization and storage of the equipment, maintaining radiological equipment, and reporting any equipment failures- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines to minimize risk of exposure to ionizing radiation- Perform annual planning and budgeting for radiological medical supplies- Promote and adhere to Illovo's procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competitive Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).Job Requirements- Diploma in Radiologic Technology.- 3 years relevant work experience- Full registration and valid practicing license with the Radiographers Association of Malawi (RAM) / Country Health Professional governing body- Basic Computer Literacy- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills.- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.- Knowledge and adherence of radiation safety practices and guidelines.How to ApplyPlease send your application letters together with detailed CV with copies of relevant certificates, traceable referees and National ID to:The HR Mill Head,Illovo Sugar (Malawi) plc,P.O Box 46,Dwangwa.E-mail: DwangwaCorporateMail@illovo.co.zaClosing date for receiving application letters is 19th October 2026 and only shortlisted candidates will be acknowledged.Illovo is an equal opportunity employer, and women are encouraged to apply.Sugar is our business but people are our sweetest assets.
