The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction costs, preparing cost estimates, monitoring project expenditure, and ensuring that construction projects are completed within the approved budgets. Key Responsibilities * Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents for construction projects. * Measure construction works and assess material, labour, and equipment requirements. * Monitor project costs and ensure that expenditure remains within the approved budget. * Prepare interim payment certificates, valuations, and final accounts. * Evaluate contractor quotations and assist in the procurement of construction materials and services. * Conduct site visits to assess work progress and verify quantities of completed work. * Liaise with engineers, architects, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders. * Prepare cost reports and provide advice on cost-saving measures. * Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and relevant construction standards. Qualifications and Experience Required * A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying. * 3–5 years of relevant work experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management. * Good knowledge of construction costing, bills of quantities, contract administration, and cost control. * Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. * Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
