About the Quality Assurance Officer Role Reporting directly to the Director of Quality Assurance, the successful candidate will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and enhancing the University’s quality assurance frameworks. Key Responsibilities
for Quality Assurance Officer Jobs in Lusaka Support the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance policies, procedures, and frameworks across the University. Assist in programme accreditation, reaccreditation, and curriculum review activities. Monitor teaching, learning, and assessment practices across online, blended, and face-to-face delivery modes. Collect, analyse, and report on quality assurance data and performance indicators to inform continuous improvement. Support quality audits, evaluations, and other quality enhancement initiatives. Coordinate student evaluation processes and contribute to quality improvement projects. Facilitate quality assurance training and promote awareness throughout the University community.
Qualifications
and Experience Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five O-Level credits, including English and Mathematics. Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a quality assurance role within higher education. Proven experience with programme accreditation, reviews, and quality audits. Familiarity with Zambia’s higher education regulatory frameworks such as HEA, ZAQA, and TEVETA. Experience in quality assurance for online and blended learning is an advantage. Ideal Candidate Profile Comprehensive knowledge of higher education quality assurance standards and best practices. Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills. High integrity, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail. Effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration abilities. Dedication to continuous improvement with a focus on student-centred quality enhancement.
