Reference Number ALAF/QA/08092026 Description Job Description – Responsibilities Ensure products meet established quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements. Conduct quality inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products. Monitor production processes to identify and prevent quality defects and non-conformities. Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Maintain accurate quality inspection, testing, and reporting records. Support the development, review, and implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) procedures. Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring quality problems and recommend improvement measures. Work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments to improve product quality. Participate in internal quality audits and support external/customer audits. Monitor and report quality KPIs, trends, defects, and customer complaints. Ensure measuring and testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Requirements Job Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Assurance, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Professional qualification or training in Quality Management/Quality Assurance is an added advantage. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001 requirements. Understanding of quality inspection, testing, statistical quality control, and root-cause analysis. Knowledge of CAPA, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, Pareto Analysis, and other quality improvement tools. Good understanding of manufacturing and production processes, preferably in a steel, roofing, or related manufacturing environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prepare quality reports and maintain proper documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and under pressure. Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
