VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT @ AGRIZEPOSITION: PROJECT MANAGERLocation: Lilongwe, Mchinji and DowaOVERVIEW Agrize is preparing to implement an agricultural livelihood project targeting smallholder farmers. Agrize also provides drone services that expand access to digital and precision agriculture technologies, backed by technical and scientific support. The organisation specialises in drone spraying services and the replacement of traditional tractor-based operations with drones, helping farmers reduce water wastage and increase productivity through modern technology.Key Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership, coordination and management of the agricultural livelihood project.- Develop and oversee detailed work plans, budgets and implementation schedules.- Supervise Project Officers and ensure timely delivery of project outputs.- Maintain strong relationships with donors, government counterparts, partners and smallholder farming communities.- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, donor requirements and quality standards.- Prepare high-quality narrative and financial reports.- Identify risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.- Represent the project in relevant meetings and forums.Minimum Requirements- Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Agriculture, Rural Development or a closely related field.- A Master’s degree in a relevant field is highly desirable.- Proven experience in managing agricultural or rural development projects, preferably with donor-funded programmes.- Strong leadership, planning, budgeting and team management skills.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders.How to ApplyInterested candidates who meet the above requirements should submit:- A detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV)- A cover letter clearly indicating the position applied for- Copies of academic certificates and any relevant supporting documentsApplications should be sent by email to:recruitmentsagrize@gmail.comEmail Subject: Project ManagerDeadline: 2nd October 2026Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Agrize is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from qualified women and persons with disabilities.
