To successfully implement, the project seeks to competitively fill the above position.The Position:This is a full-time position based in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health and at the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research ProgrammeKey Responsibilities:Participate in the design and execution of all primary quantitative analyses, impact evaluation, and effective coverage estimation.Develop, maintain, and govern harmonised, reproducible analytic codebases (R, Stata, Python), ensuring compatibility with federated data execution and secure in-country runs.Implement advanced data quality assurance and reproducibility processesProduce high-quality statistical outputs to support reporting, peer-reviewed publications, and external reviewParticipate in related training activities and study workshops or meetingsPerforming any other related duty as assigned.QualificationsAt a minimum, the DAS will have:Masters degree in either of the following disciplines Biostatistics, Statistics, Data Science or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institutionAt least three (3) years of research experienceAdvanced R/Stata/PythonDemonstrated expertise in multilevel models and routine health data.Evidence of ability to produce and publish research.How to ApplyNotes:Applicants should email their application letters, certified copies of certificates and curriculum vitae (CV) giving details of their qualifications, experience andthree (3) referees indicating their telephone contacts and e-mail contacts;Applications and related documents should be forwarded addressed to the Director, Human Resource, University of Nairobi;Applicants should state their current designations, salaries and other
