POSITION: Project Coordinator (X1)

LOCATION: Zimba
JOB PURPOSE
The main purpose of the job is to manage and coordinate the Projects of Kabanga Sub District Womens Association.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Work closely with the Field Officer to ensure timely delivery of project outputs and outcomes.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with groups and organizations.
-
Coordinate and provide technical support to implementing partners in project planning, implementation, reporting, and compliance.
-
Administration, monitoring and evaluation of project funding
-
Actively engage in planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of project activities in line with approved work plans, budgets and donor requirements
-
Ensure continuos effort towards capacity strengthening initiatives for the organization at large, including institutional development, governance, safeguarding, gender equality, and program quality.

Be a highly energetic, self-starting, entrepreneurial and creative individual who can express and recognize ideas and opportunities, and communicate goals and objectives clearly.

Coordinate activities promoting civic participation and state accountability, democratic governance, electoral accountability, women’s participation, and other relevant sakeholders.

Corrdinate project meetings, workshops, trainings, learning events, and stakeholder consultations

. An ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally

Conduct regular stakeholder monitoring visits and provide technical support to strengthen program quality and accountability.

• Work closely with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) team to collect, analyze, and report project data, ensuring supervision of timely submission of quality narrative reports.
-
• Collaborate with the Communications team to document success stories, lessons learned, case studies, and visibility materials.
-
Demonstrated ability to represent the company credibly with Government representatives, including engagement with Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, regulators, public utilities and other senior public-sector stakeholders.

Support budget monitoring and activity implementation in collaboration with the Finance team to ensure effective utilization of project resources.

• Ensure compliance with Organisational policies, donor requirements, safeguarding standards, and risk management procedures.
-
Contribute to proposal development, concept notes, program design, and resource mobilization initiatives as required.

Demonstrated skill, experience and success in marketing and fundraising with an emphasis on raising funds from multilateral and bilateral aid agencies, foundations, and corporations.

• Perform any other duties assigned in support of the successful implementation of the program.
a. Minimum Qualifications and Experience Applicants should possess:
-
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Community development,Project management, Social work, Public Administration, Social Sciences, , or a related field from a recognized university.
-
A minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience implementing donor-funded development programs within a civil society or development organization.
-
Demonstrated experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and partner management.

Experience working in one or more of the following areas

Women’s Political Participation

Civil Society Strengthening
-
Experience facilitating stakeholder engagement, advocacy, and capacity-building initiatives.

Experience in partnership management and working with community-based and civil society organizations.

Experience working with institutional donors and a good understanding of donor compliance requirements.
