## Job Description

Procurement Jobs, Imara Hospital Jobs. Responsible for developing and implementing procurement systems, guiding departments on specifications, sourcing and managing suppliers, leading prequalification and tender processes, managing contracts, controlling inventory, reducing procurement lead times, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of goods and services. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, full CIPS or equivalent qualification, KISM membership, and at least four years’ local experience. The position is based in Embu and requires on-site work.

### Key Responsibilities

- Assist departments in defining clear purchasing specifications.

- Develop and execute spend management and sourcing strategies.

- Vendor & Tender Management

- Contract Administration

- Inventory Control

- Ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and prompt delivery of goods and services.

- Prepare financial and inventory performance reports.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Full CIPS qualification (or equivalent from a recognized institution)

- Registered member in good standing with the KISM or another relevant professional body.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in both local and international procurement.

- Strong negotiation, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, coupled with high integrity.
