Position: Principalhttps://hillviewschool.mw/OverviewWe are seeking an inspirational, dynamic, and experienced educational leader to join our school community as Principal from August 2027. The Principal will provide overall executive leadership across the entire school, directly serve as Headteacher of the High School, and line-manage the EYFS/Primary Headteacher to ensure a cohesive, high-quality educational vision.SchoolHillview International School is a modern, innovative, and growing institution located in the warm heart of Africa (Malawi). Our Primary School, established in the 1950s, feeds into our High School, which was opened in 2015. Our students have achieved remarkable outcomes, with an 87% A*-C rate in all exam sessions since our inception and 43% of IGCSEs taken across all exam sessions scoring A*/A. Following a period of significant growth and the continued evolution of our school, we are seeking an outstanding leader to guide Hillview into its next chapter of growth, academic distinction, and whole-school success.SpecificationsLeading the strategic vision, operations, and policy development across the whole school (EYFS to High School) in collaboration with the Board of Governors;Acting as functional Headteacher of the High School, taking direct responsibility for academic outcomes, teaching standards, and pastoral care in Key Stages 3, & 4;Line-managing and supporting the EYFS/Primary Headteacher to ensure seamless curriculum continuity and high educational standards across all phases;Managing school finances, resources, and staffing efficiently while maintaining full regulatory and safeguarding compliance;Serving as an energetic and visible ambassador for Hillview within the local, national, and international communities.Start date: August 2027Application deadline: 02 November 2026
