Job description

Consolata Hospital Nkubu is seeking a dynamic, creative and results-driven professional to manage our public image, strengthen stakeholder relationships and enhance communication with our community.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Mass Communication, Journalism, Communication Studies, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Professional certification in Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Digital Marketing, Strategic Communication, or Customer Relations will be an added advantage.
• At least three (3) years’ relevant experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a similar role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Demonstrated experience in media relations, stakeholder engagement, event management, and corporate communications.
• Experience managing digital communication platforms, including social media and website content management.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic communication and public relations plans.
• Experience preparing press releases, speeches, newsletters, annual reports, publications, and other corporate communication materials.
• Sound knowledge of crisis communication, reputation management, and media engagement.
• Strong customer service and patient relations skills.
• Good understanding of healthcare communication, patient confidentiality, and professional ethical standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media management tools, and other communication and content management applications.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, prioritize competing assignments, and meet tight deadlines.
