## Job Description

OVERVIEWCombine Cargo Malawi Ltd is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Cashier. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer payments, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cash reconciliations and reports, and ensuring compliance with company financial procedures and internal controls.JOB TYPE: Full-TimeApplication Deadline: 23 October 2026POSITION: CASHIERKEY REQUIREMENTSAcademic, Professional Qualifications and Experience:The applicant should possess the following:Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent, with good passes in English and Mathematics.A Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.A minimum of two years' experience in cashiering, finance, customer service, or a related role.Knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.Experience with the EIS system, including processing statutory returns, will be an added advantage.Personal Specification:Accuracy and attention to detail when handling financial transactions.Good communication and customer service skills.Ability to maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports.Commitment to following company financial procedures and internal controls.DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIESReceive and process cash, cheques, and other customer payments.Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.Prepare daily cash reconciliations and reports.Prepare bank deposits and process petty cash and cheque disbursements.Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and internal controls.HOW TO APPLYInterested candidates should submit the following documents:An updated CV.An application letter.Copies of relevant certificates.Applications should be sent to: combine@combinecargo.mw.Closing Date: 23 October 2026
