## Job Description

Location: LilongweApplications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Pharmacy Technician / Pharmacy Technologist in a retail/community pharmacy setting.RequirementsDiploma in Pharmacy Technology / Pharmacy from an institution recognised by PMRA.Completed the required PMRA registration assessment/examinations and obtained registration.Current registration and valid practising certificate with the Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority (PMRA).At least 2 years post-registration experience.Good knowledge of pharmacy practice, medicine management and relevant legislation.Must meet PMRA requirements for professional practice.Adequate English language proficiency.Cashier/point-of-sale experience in a pharmacy or retail healthcare environment is an added advantage.Key DutiesAssist the registered pharmacist in dispensing medicines under supervision.Perform pharmaceutical calculations and prepare and label medicines accurately.Maintain stock control, inventory records and proper storage conditions.Provide basic patient counselling and health education under the pharmacist's guidance.Support daily pharmacy operations and PMRA compliance.Assist with cashier duties and customer service.How to ApplySubmit:Detailed CVAcademic and professional certificatesValid PMRA registration/practising certificateCover letter indicating the position applied forEmail: pangani_frances@yahoo.comClosing Date: 7 October 2026Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
