## Job Description

Location: LilongweApplications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Pharmacy Assistant in a retail/community pharmacy setting.RequirementsCertificate in Pharmacy Assistance from an institution recognised by PMRA.Completed the required PMRA registration assessment/examinations and obtained registration.Current registration and valid practising certificate with the Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority (PMRA).At least 2 years post-registration experience.Basic knowledge of pharmacy procedures, medicine handling and relevant laws.Must meet PMRA requirements for professional practice.Adequate English language proficiency.Cashier/point-of-sale experience in a pharmacy or retail healthcare environment is an added advantage.Key DutiesAssist with the receipt, storage and issuance of medicines under supervision.Support dispensing processes and maintain clean and organised work areas.Assist with stock counts, stock arrangement and record-keeping.Provide front-line customer assistance and basic information under supervision.Perform general pharmacy support duties as assigned.Handle cash transactions and point-of-sale activities.How to ApplySubmit:Detailed CVAcademic and professional certificatesValid PMRA registration/practising certificateCover letter indicating the position applied forEmail: pangani_frances@yahoo.comClosing Date: 7 October 2026Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
