Key Responsibilities for Person In Charge Jobs in Solwezi
- Supervise daily operations of earthworks crews, maintaining high standards of safety and production.
- Collaborate with the Earthwork Operations team to optimize equipment usage within your assigned area.
- Demonstrate effective leadership and manage resources allocated to your area of responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, health, safety, environmental, quality, finance, and human resource regulations.
- Oversee completion and accuracy of prestart checklists signed by operators.
- Report directly to the Foreman Operations and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Certificate in Earthworks and Construction or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in earthworks or construction supervision.
- Proven ability to effectively supervise and manage teams in similar operational roles.
