We are seeking an experienced Parts Demand Planning / Procurement Executive to lead demand forecasting, inventory planning, procurement, and supply coordination for a high-volume spare-parts operation.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automotive, commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, or industrial spare parts, with proven exposure to imported inventory, large SKU portfolios, and data-driven demand planning.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage monthly and rolling spare-parts demand forecasts.
Analyse historical sales, inventory trends, seasonality, and market requirements to improve forecast accuracy.
Develop and optimise inventory levels, safety stock, and buffer stock to ensure parts availability while controlling inventory costs.
Prepare and execute periodic parts procurement orders based on approved demand forecasts and inventory requirements.
Monitor purchase orders and the complete supply pipeline to ensure timely availability of parts.
Coordinate imports and international supply-chain activities, including shipment tracking and delivery timelines.
Identify potential stock-outs, excess inventory, and supply risks and recommend corrective actions.
Work closely with Parts Sales, Service, Warehouse, Finance, Procurement, Logistics, and suppliers to ensure seamless parts availability.
Prepare regular reports and dashboards on demand, inventory, procurement, and supply-chain performance.
Use data and analytics to support decision-making and continuously improve the parts planning process.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
10–15 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in parts demand planning, inventory planning, procurement, or supply-chain management.
Proven experience within the automotive, commercial vehicle, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, or spare-parts distribution sector.
Demonstrated experience managing large SKU portfolios and imported inventory.
Strong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, procurement, and international supply chains.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
Strong Power BI and data analytics capability.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
