Job description

Responsible for delivering process improvement projects, while striving to improve the operation efficiency and providing insights into how to stabilize and grow business. Main Responsibilities: Work closely with the team and cross-functional business partners to execute and deliver process improvement projects. Apply quantitative methods to drive and support management decisions. Track customer incidents, investigate, define root causes, and identify opportunities to improve quality and the overall customer experience. Monitor processes ensuring the appropriate controls are in place and adhered to, identify areas for improvement and drive the changes. Develop and prepare materials for use in process improvement events, coordinate with management, provide instructions on the use of process improvement tools. Suggest different process re-engineering methodologies and provide leadership to business and support function teams by empowering them to execute improvements to cycle times and eliminate defects. Work in conjunction with Heads, Zonal Managers and Senior Managers of departments to provide desired re-engineering practices and ensure alignment of re-engineering initiatives to business objectives. Challenge the status quo and propose improvements in cost, revenue and process effectiveness and efficiencies as appropriate. Knowledge and Skills: Strong project management skills Track record in driving both strategic and operational activities. Well-developed analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills having ability to sift through large amounts of data to gain insight Self-motivated, innovative, and ability to initiate and lead change Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office including Visio, Excel as well as Business Intelligence/Metric reporting tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree in business administration, management, Banking, Finance, or related field Lean Six Sigma certification. Project Management certification is an added advantage Certified Business Analyst is a plus 3 years of organizational change experience Experience working with business re-engineering processes in Financial or Banking industry.NMB Bank Plc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
