Old Mutual South Africa is recruiting a Head of Institutional Investments for Symmetry in Pinelands, Western Cape. This full-time role leads investment decisions and outcomes for institutional multi-managed portfolios, including asset allocation, manager selection, portfolio construction, performance, risk and governance. The post also represents Symmetry with institutional clients, trustees and consultants; leads investment professionals; and partners with product and distribution teams on new business and client retention while preserving fiduciary independence. ## Requirements

Relevant postgraduate qualification in Investments, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or a related discipline; at least 15 years of relevant investment experience, including substantial institutional investment management, multi-management, investment consulting or portfolio solutions experience. Old Mutual seeks demonstrated multi-asset or multi-manager portfolio accountability; manager research and selection expertise; knowledge of South African institutional and retirement-fund regulation and fiduciary duties; senior client-facing and team-leadership experience; and a track record of originating and winning institutional mandates. A recognised investment qualification such as CFA, CAIA, an actuarial qualification or CA(SA) is strongly preferred. Applicants must meet applicable regulatory and fit-and-proper requirements.
