That’s how we continue to achieve extraordinary things in extraordinary locations. ### Job description Job Purpose Assist in coordination of collection, consolidation and dispatch of nationally-sourced supplies and imported goods in local transit to FQM Trident Job Responsibility - In engaging, oversight and direction of the activities of local delivery transporters - as instructed with import clearance of personal effects for staff inbound to site - as required in coordination of transport and documentation for national and international repair and return items - Maintain close contact with Procurement Expediting and with Copperbelt and Lusaka suppliers in order to ensure earliest cost-effective delivery to site - Play a co-ordinating and support role in the despatch and collection of repair and return items both locally and internationally, as required - Examine and verify for payment all local goods transport invoices and ensure such invoices are covered by corresponding system freight instructions - Ensure that loading staff and collecting drivers and vehicles comply with: site safety standards - national transportation standards - environmental laws, procedures and processes - Maintain any reporting systems set up by management or supervisory staff - Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the Clearing and Transport Supervisor Specific Competencies - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of PRONTO - Familiarity with Customs clearing regulations and practice - Familiarity with Company administrative structure and practices - Familiarity with practices, processes and procedures throughout the logistics chain Job Attributes - Constantly aware of safety issues - Hard working, self-motivating, energetic, meticulous and focused - Honest, responsible and dependable - Respects deadlines - Welcomes and seeks out personal and workplace improvement - High ability to work independently and yet in close collaboration with colleagues - High level of self-motivation and capacity for initiative - Good communication and organisational skills Experience and Qualifications - At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in any manufacturing or similar industry - Grade 12 Certificate - ZCILT qualification - Any tertiary qualification is added advantage ## Apply Use the canonical Prime Job Alerts page for full application instructions and source verification.
