A leading producer of platinum group metals is seeking a high-calibre Network Engineer to join its progressive, technology-driven environment. As a Network Engineer, you will be involved in the design, implementation, maintenance, monitoring and optimisation of LAN infrastructure, working alongside experienced technology professionals and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Technical Requirements
- 7+ years hands-on experience managing enterprise network environments and teams.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco switching platforms (Catalyst, Nexus) and Cisco DNA Center.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), STP variants, VXLAN, multicast, QoS, and SD Access concepts.
- Experience with network automation (Python/Ansible/Git) and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Solid understanding of NAC (Cisco ISE), firewall policies, and segmentation.
- Soft Skills & Organizational Requirements
- Ability to develop and present technical strategies to leadership.
- Strong documentation capability and adherence to change control & ITIL processes.
- Analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and operational discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field (essential).
- Professional Certifications:
- CCNP Enterprise (required)
- CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure (preferred but not essential)
- Additional certifications such as JNCIP/JNCIE, Aruba, Fortinet NSE, or network automation credentials (advantageous).
