In June 2026 the organisation marked its transition to full local leadership, with a mission to bring relief, restore dignity and build a better future for vulnerable communities.About the RoleImpact Relief (IR) is looking for a motivated MEAL Intern to join its team in Lilongwe. Working under the MEAL Coordinator, the intern will help improve the quality and timeliness of MEAL work across IR programmes, track project progress, and support learning, knowledge sharing and decisions based on data.Main Duties• Help develop, test and roll out data collection tools, and keep the Indicator Tracking Table up to date.• Help set up and run feedback mechanisms for project participants and stakeholders.• Verify project data routinely, assist with quarterly Data Quality Audits, and prepare basic data visualisations and reports.• Keep MEAL files organised, protect data security and confidentiality, and support users of IR database platforms.• Document lessons learned and good practices, support learning events, and help share findings with programme teams.• Help organise MEAL trainings and take part in training and supervising enumerators.Who Should ApplyThe internship is open to graduates who completed their studies within the last two years. Applicants should have:• A degree or diploma in statistics, mathematical sciences, development studies, social sciences or a related field.• Basic knowledge of MEAL concepts such as indicators, data quality and reporting.• Good working skills in Microsoft Excel. Experience with mobile data collection tools such as KoboToolbox or ODK is an advantage.• Clear written and spoken English.
